Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite popular. Sara Ramirez was raised by her American mother and encountered a number of racial slurs that led her to feel unwelcome. It was during her ninth grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim at an audition. Not only did it boost her confidence but her dreams transformed. She attended New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. Her professional career began when she was 23 years old, appearing in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and the film You've Got Mail. The biggest accomplishment of her career occurred in the role of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's initial Broadway production. She did not only win the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by critics. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. Known as a singer she also released a single and an extended play. In her role as an activist, she works tirelessly for LGBT equality.
