Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman to has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The first female to win in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from an early age. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 (by the year 2021). She is 5' 7" tall and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie was the first to start CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. She performed well in initial games and finished at the top of the list out of 70. However, she was unable to earn any titles, and ended up 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. Following a long period full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. Annie was a winner, having outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to win the two CrossFit Games. She also took home a gold. In 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie is presently a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other. Aside from that, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand viewers where her video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
