Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the only woman to is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She finished second both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents as well as her siblings, were born and raised at Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young age, Annie was a fervent sports enthusiast and was a fan of exercising. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit competitions in California. The first performances were good. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 in 2021. Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished with the top 10. But she did not take home any titles and ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. After one year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance was enough to earn her the title. Annie was the first female to win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae.
